Dr. Jessica Geurkink has practiced dentistry since 2017 and joined Sky Creek Dental in Keller in August 2023. Her focus is restoring smiles that need the most work, from rebuilding badly broken-down teeth to porcelain veneers. Meet Dr. Geurkink
Dr. G, as her patients call her, decided to become a dentist in seventh grade. She had good experiences with her pediatric dentist and her orthodontist growing up, and she remembers the exact day it clicked: the day her braces came off.
She grew up in Allen, Texas, graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University, and finished first in her class at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. She practiced in Arkansas from 2017 to 2020 and at Parkview Dental in Trophy Club from 2020 to 2023, then joined Sky Creek Dental.
Outside the office, Dr. G spends most of her time with her husband and their three children. She also enjoys tennis, trips to Colorado, and time at the lake.
Philosophy of Care
Many patients come in carrying a bad experience from another office. Dr. G wants to hear about it first. “I really like to just listen to my patients,” she says. Once she knows your concerns and fears, she explains what you need and lays out options that fit your budget and your comfort level, including any cosmetic goals you have.
For larger cases, she knows the hardest part for patients is trusting that their dentist can do the work. So she builds that trust first, explains the plan plainly, and does the treatment alongside you rather than handing you a verdict.
Comfort is part of the plan too. Dr. G keeps the mood light, and patients have blankets, TVs on the ceiling, and sedation options when they need them.

What Patients Say About Dr. Geurkink

What Is Her Focus
Dr. G provides general, cosmetic and restorative care. Her current focus is full-mouth rehabilitation for patients whose teeth have broken down to the point that they need to be rebuilt. These patients are often in pain, have trouble chewing, and have seen the shape of their face change. The goal is to get them chewing, smiling, and back to the things they’ve been avoiding.
On dental implant and All-on-4 cases, Dr. Cornelius places the implants and Dr. G handles the restorative work, the teeth that attach to them.
She also provides porcelain veneers and other cosmetic dentistry, and she plans Invisalign treatment with Dr. Cornelius. For patients who need it, she treats with nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or IV sedation.
