Dr. Brent Cornelius has been a dentist in Keller, Texas since he graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998, and he leads the team at Sky Creek Dental. Meet Dr. Cornelius

Dr. Cornelius decided to become a dentist in the third grade. A dentist at career day handed out disclosing tablets that turn plaque bright red, and he thought it was the coolest thing he’d ever seen. He went home and told his parents that was the job for him.

He worked as a dental assistant through high school, college and dental school, so he learned this work from the assistant’s side of the chair. It taught him that most people don’t want a lecture. They want someone who looks closely and explains things plainly.

Away from the office, he’s usually with his family or playing bass in the family band, which is where the third-best guitar player in the family ends up. He also loves the Dallas Stars, and he knows hockey is good for business.

Philosophy of Care

Care with Dr. Cornelius starts before any treatment does. He wants to know where you are right now, whether that’s a tooth that hurts or a smile you’ve stopped showing. Then he wants to know where you’d like to be.

Dr. Cornelius provides general, cosmetic and restorative care, with added certification in Invisalign and dental implants. He is also a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

His other certifications include sedation dentistry for patients who find the chair hard to sit in, laser dentistry, and CERECā„¢ same-day crowns. A same-day crown means one visit and a finished tooth, with no temporary and no return trip.
