What is the most important thing you learned before high school?

The most important lesson I learned before high school was how to do a job the right way. I am extremely lucky to have a family full of people that work very hard and always give their best effort no matter what it is they are doing. Growing up with these incredible people as my role models led to a lot of good lessons learned but the best one that they gave me was the importance of working hard and doing a job the best you can.

Carrie

I am a mom of three boys and a Goldendoodle named Penny.  Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my family, learning new hobbies, and being outdoors.

Carrie graduated from Everest College in 2010 with her RDA.  She is certified in nitrous oxide administration, first aid, and CPR.  She has been with Sky Creek Dental since 2017 and loves the fulfilling reward of being a part of improving patients’ smiles.

What is a special talent you have?

If someone tells me their birthday once I will always remember it.

Donna

I have three kids, a loving husband, and a dog. Outside of work, we enjoy spending time outdoors camping and hiking creating new memories.

Donna completed the dental hygiene program at the University of Alabama after graduating from Faulkner state community college. She has been in the dental field for over 25 years and a part of this team since 2004.

“There is always, always something to be thankful for.”

What do you love the most about working at Sky Creek Dental?

What I love the most about working here is the loving family atmosphere. We treat each other and our patients like family.

Becca

I am a mom of three children, three dogs, and married to my best friend. In my free time I enjoy working out, hiking, and spending time on the lake.

Becca graduated from Concorde Career Institute in Dallas and is certified in the administration of nitrous oxide, CPR, and first aid. She has been with Sky Creek Dental since 2015 as a Registered Dental Assistant. Patients love her cheerful attitude, and Becca enjoys making them feel comfortable and at ease.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

The best piece of advice that I have been given would be from my mom that no matter the situation, you should always do what is right and not what is easy.

Sarah

I am originally from Iowa and moved to Texas to start my life. In my free time I enjoy competing in the sport, rodeo.  I love spending my time on the lake with friends, running 5ks, yoga, and going to a variety of coffee shops.

Sarah graduated from Iowa Central Community College as an esthetician.  After college, she wanted to be a part of dentistry, so she took courses to become a Registered Dental Assistant.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up.

Brent Cornelius, DDS

Dentist in Keller, Tx

I’ve known I wanted to be a dentist since the 3rd grade.  A classmate’s father, who was a dentist, came to career day and brought disclosing tablets that turn dirty spots on your teeth red.  I thought it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen and went home that day to tell my parents I was going to be a dentist.

My passion for dentistry evolved when I worked as a dental assistant through high school, college and dental school. I enjoy keeping abreast of the latest techniques, materials and technology through a commitment to lifelong learning and continuing education. I’ve had the honor of being mentored by some of the finest dentists in the world and find it rejuvenating to be around like-minded dentists who challenge the status quo and sharpen each other’s skills.

I still find wonder in the cutting-edge technology we use every day that has completely transformed how I practice dentistry. I find it tremendously rewarding to be able to transform people’s smiles and to restore health and function.  I am so proud of the team we have assembled and the practice we’ve built together. I look forward to meeting you where you are, finding out where you want to be and helping you get there.
