I’ve known I wanted to be a dentist since the 3rd grade. A dentist came to career day and brought disclosing tablets that turn dirty spots on your teeth red. I thought it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen and went home that day to
tell my parents I was going to be a dentist.

Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with family, tinkering with a house project or playing bass guitar in our family band. When you’re the third best guitar player in your family you get relegated to bass. I also really love
the Dallas Stars (and not just because they need a lot of dentistry).

My passion for dentistry evolved when I worked as a dental assistant through high school, college and dental school. I enjoy keeping abreast of the latest techniques, materials and technology through a commitment to lifelong learning and continuing education. I’ve had the honor of being mentored by some of the finest dentists in the world and find it rejuvenating to be around like-minded dentists who challenge the status quo and sharpen each other’s skills.

I find it tremendously rewarding to be able to change how people see themselves by transforming their smile and restoring health and function. I am so proud of the team we have assembled and the practice we’ve built. I look
forward to meeting you where you are, finding out where you want to be and helping you get there.

Dr. Cornelius received a degree in Zoology with a Minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University. After graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998, he was awarded prestigious Master status in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as Fellow status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
